The Erasmus+ KA2 project “Unlocking the transformative potential of Ukrainian universities towards climate-neutral and sustainable cities”. Project number: 101083099 — UNICITIES — ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE. The announced implementation period was 1 February 2023 to 31 January 2026.
The project brought together universities and partner organisations from Ukraine, Sweden and Spain. Its focus included interdisciplinary education, research and innovation for sustainable cities, university-community cooperation and digital tools for climate transformation.
Joint master’s pathway with Magdeburg
KPI’s Joint Ukrainian-German Centre for Mechanical Engineering provides IATE students with a pathway to German-language studies and a joint master’s programme with Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
Participation requires meeting academic and language requirements, a departmental recommendation and competitive selection. Study and thesis defence follow the requirements of both universities. Funding and scholarships depend on the individual intake.
